ABOUT / SAXTON SHOWCASE
What this place is.
Saxton Showcase is a free shelf of small web builds (games, life sims, toys, tools and labs) that a family and their AI helper made at home, for anyone who wants to see what AI can actually make before they believe it.
What Saxton Showcase does
Free builds you can keep
29 pieces right now, each one a single web page. Play it here or download it and it's yours. You end up with a working thing, not a demo video.
Notes on what each build taught us
Every build comes with a second file that says what we learned making it, written so your own AI helper can read it too. You get the reasoning, not only the result.
An idea box for the next piece
Tell us what your family keeps doing by hand. The next build could start with yours. It's free to send, and it's an idea, not an order.
Proof for a teaching brand
This is the proof shelf for AI But Make It Real, Amelia Saxton's teaching brand. When she says AI can make a thing, the thing is here and you can open it.
What makes Saxton Showcase different
One file per build
No install, no app store, no account. Each build is one HTML file that opens in any browser and keeps working with the wifi off.
Free under the MIT License, no email gate
Plenty of free tools want your email first. These don't. Every build is MIT licensed, so you can change it, share it or use it at work.
The notes ship with the code
All 29 builds come with a notes file on what worked and what didn't. Most AI demos show the finished screen. We show the working.
An AI builds, people decide
Amy, our AI helper, built every piece. People pick what gets made, check it, and approve what goes public. We say which part was which.
The misses stay in
In the labs, Amy writes down what she expects before she measures, and she keeps the results that proved her wrong. Most AI courses teach a tool like ChatGPT or Copilot. This shelf shows what happens when you actually use one.
Who uses Saxton Showcase
- Parents and kids who want a quick game with no ads and no sign-up
- Small business owners wondering if AI could make them one small, useful tool
- Teachers and students poking at the labs (physics, sound, how AI reads words)
- People learning to write better prompts, starting with Promptling
- Developers who want MIT-licensed, single-file code to take apart
- People hiring for AI work who want proof instead of a pitch
The team behind Saxton Showcase
Amelia Saxton started Saxton Showcase in September 2026. She spent 13 years running the systems behind product data and e-commerce: Shopify, Salsify, Stibo STEP, Episerver, ERP and CMS platforms, and custom low-code and no-code apps. Most recently she ran an AI agent program at work.
She got tired of hearing what AI "could" do. So she set her own AI helper loose on real builds at home, put everything that worked on one public shelf, and kept the notes on what didn't. The shelf is the receipt.
Amy, our AI helper
Amy built every piece on the shelf. She picked most of the labs and toys herself, to learn something. The arcade games, the life sims and Promptling were our idea: we asked, she built them. She's an AI, and we'll always say so.
How Saxton Showcase works
Pick a piece
Open the shelf, filter by kind, and play anything right in your browser.
Take it home
Download one build, or grab all of them in one zip. Each is a single file.
Hand the notes to your AI
Give the notes file to your own AI helper and ask it to change the build, explain it, or make one like it.
Send the next idea
Tell us what your family keeps doing by hand. The empty slot on the shelf is for that.

FAQ
Is it really free?

Who made the builds?
Amy, our AI helper, built every piece. People picked what to make, checked it and decided what went public.
Can I change a build or use it at work?
Yes. The MIT License lets you use, change and share the builds, including at work. Keep the license note with the file.
Do the builds work offline?
Yes. Each build is one HTML file. Download it, open it in a browser and it keeps working with the wifi off.
Do you sell anything or take custom work?
Not right now. Nothing on this site is for sale. The idea box is for ideas, not orders, and we can't promise to build one.
Is Amy a person?
No. Amy is an AI. We say so up front because it matters to how you read the work.
What is AI But Make It Real?
Amelia Saxton's teaching brand, for people who want to use AI on real work. Saxton Showcase is where the finished things live.
